Bruxa Tattoo Co

I started this private studio to create the space I wish I had for both tattooing and getting tattooed. A space without egos and that understands that every client needs something unique to have the experience they deserve.

My hope is that all of my clients leave loving their new artwork just as much as they enjoyed the time it took to bring it to life. As a queer ND woman in the tattoo industry, I’ve curated the space to be one that I wish I could walk into. That means snacks, music, a full array of streaming available on the TV, fidgets, and of course art and monsters everywhere. I love bringing to life art that is weird, spooky, sometimes gross, filled with nostalgia and represents all the wonderful things that make us unique. I hope you find my work both fun and beautiful and hope to book with you soon!

Why ‘Bruxa’

I spent my early life hearing the word Bruxa be thrown at women who didn’t meet the expectations of my culture all the time. If you liked weird things, spoke too loud, had grey hair, or were too independent you were a Bruxa. Before that it used to be a word for any woman who lived outside the village norms, anyone liable to be labeled a witch. It took a while (and getting to see the badass version of a Bruxa as imagined by The Witcher), but I stopped hating it and started embracing that label. Culture can be a beautiful thing but it can also be filled with judgment, especially for those of us in ostracized groups. Starting Bruxa Tattoo Co was a way for me to reclaim my power in this fucked up world. My goal is for my tattoos to be there to remind you to do the same.
